The Nokia N97: Does it live up to expectations?

We live in a world where unusual and shocking events have sporadically seen the light of the day in the midst of much "oohs" and "wows". Whether these events serve their purpose in pushing humankind ahead towards progress or just go down the drain as a failed attempt, is much to anyone's judgement. We, however try to absorb such hopeful pleasantries in an ardent move to witness a greater extent of development in our lives.

Mobile phones have, out of the blue, whizzed into our lives and turned our world upside down, with a spat of dull moments scattered behind us. The mobile phone revolution is one such movement that is certainly a breathe of fresh air for everyone I can think of. Leaving aside the conventional communication platform that is one of the best things to have happened to mankind, mobile phones have given us a much needed respite from the usual dregs of life. Fused by an ever evolving technology, the world has seen the coming of age of mobile phones possessing impressive features and abilities. In the midst of a chaotic proliferation of mobile phones in the phone market, a hitherto heard of baby is arguably slated for release soon.

Rumoured to make its way out of the highly enviable gates of Finnish mobile phone manufacturer Nokia, the Nokia N97 has stolen its way into the limelight today. The phone seemingly carries a 5.0 megapixel camera with a 20 x digital zoom and has an unusually large 3 Inch TFT LCD colour touchscreen to do the honours to the clicked pictures. This beauty has also been said to possess a whopping 20 GB of integrated memory, and a MicroSD card slot. Now, if that does not tilt your shock absorbers, I wonder what else can. Gaping at the leaked pictures of this assumable wonder phone, waiting for the moment of truth is all that millions of mobile phone lovers can do.
